🔹 ISO Self-Declaration with Lead Auditor as a Service® (LAaaS®) 🔹

Are you being asked for an ISO credential by customers or other interested parties?

Do you want to take a proactive step with ISO but don’t know where to start?

Do you want to work towards accredited certification but can’t justify the time, resources, or budget right now?

If you answered yes to any of the above, LAaaS® can help.

While ISO itself makes it clear that you can’t self-certify to a standard such as ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, we provide a practical middle ground.

📢 Launching in Q4 2025, our new Self-Declaration service is designed for micro, small businesses and SMEs. It helps you:

✅ Show your commitment to ISO 9001 principles

✅ Provide assurance to customers and stakeholders

✅ Take the first step towards achieving accredited certification with an independent body

With LAaaS®, you can demonstrate real intent and build trust—without the full overhead of certification.

Content of the Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity (SDoC)

BS EN ISO/IEC 17050-1:2010 (Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity — Part 1: General requirements)

This standard specifies the minimum information that a supplier’s declaration must contain so that it is valid, clear, and traceable.

The declaration should include:

  1. Unique identification of the declaration (e.g., a reference number or code).

  2. Name and contact details of the supplier issuing the declaration.

  3. Identification of the object of the declaration (e.g., product, process, service, system, or person being declared).

  4. Statement of conformity — clear wording that the identified object conforms with specified requirements.

  5. Reference to the standards, specifications, or other normative documents against which conformity is declared.

  6. Date and place of issue of the declaration.

  7. Signature or equivalent confirmation by the supplier or authorised person.

In short, following these requirements ensures that a supplier’s declaration of conformity is unambiguous, properly identified, and linked to both the supplier and the relevant requirements, so that customers, regulators, or other interested parties can rely on it.
